Pozitive Results Sport Strategies falls under the leadership of its Principal, Ozzie Sawicki.In his industry involvement over the past 28 years, Ozzie has focused on sport and technology including leadership and project management roles, both nationally and internationally.Since 1996, Ozzie has provided consultation services in resource, environmental, First Nation and municipal sectors, through Pozitive Results Geographics Inc.Ozzie’s expertise includes resource, space and defense, work with Aboriginal/First Nations peoples, evidence-based data management, and location-based geographic information systems (GIS).Prior to 1996, Ozzie was involved in resource and space and defense sectors in technology based roles and project management positions.

Ozzie remains closely tied to the academic stream in which hisroles have been at a senior level of instruction, largely as a program builder, vision leader and liaison with industry in both the selection and placement of students in a variety of sectors. His instructional interests include advanced technology applications, project management and project delivery. His instructional roles include theUniversity of Calgary, SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary, Canada; and at Mount Royal University in Calgary in the Bachelor of Applied Business and Entrepreneurship - Sport and Recreation Program.

Pozitive Results Sport Strategies was born out of Ozzie’s long time involvement in sport. He has been an active member of the Canadian sport community, with involvement over the past 28 years in alpine skiing. He has held positions at the club, provincial and national team levels in both able-bodied and para-sport (athletes with a physical disability), including roles as head coach of the Canadian Para-Alpine Ski Team from 2000-2004, and head coach of the Canadian Para-Athletics program from 2009-2011. He continues to play an active role in sport at the national and international level, with involvement in a variety of capacities focusing on the growth and professional status of coaches in Canada. He has recently held positions on key boards, including Vice-President of Coaches of Canada; Board member and Chair of the Coaches Council of the Canadian Paralympic Committee; as well as leading the technical portfolio as a member of the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation Board. Ozzie was most recently Co-Chair of the Coach Alberta Board until 2013. Presently, Ozzie is the Head of Technical Controls and Officiating for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Alpine Skiing and Snowboard Technical Committee, a role held since 2014. In additon to his Board and Committee roles, Ozzie was the Canadian Paralympic Team Chef de Mission for the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, acting as the overall leader of the Canadian Team competing at these Games. The Team had set a goal of attaining a top 3 placing in gold medal count and placed third acheiving Canada’s goal with 7 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze medals. At present, Ozzie recently completed a role as the High Performance Advisor for the Canadian 3-Day Eventing Team preparing for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and is presently the Program Director for the Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing (CADS) Alberta.

The blending of an exceptional knowledge in data methodologies, trend analysis and systems design, combined with an extensive knowledge of sport at the technical and strategic level in Canada and internationally has created an area of expertise unique in sport and the business of sport that sets Ozzie apart in offering world leading sport solutions.
